Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients in the SICU. Collaborate with physicians to coordinate care across the continuum, including preventative measures, health maintenance, and follow-up. Perform patient triage, education, and various nursing interventions while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure standards. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and obtain required department-specific competencies. Starting rate is $35.00 - $48.00 with varying shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
