Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions in the SICU. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate care plans while providing empathetic support across the continuum of care. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise and adapt to a fast-paced environment requiring strong communication and time management. This role supports Sanford Health's mission of treating patients and coworkers as family within a not-for-profit system of over 18,000 nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
