Job Summary
RN - Inpatient Rehab on a 33-bed unit. Direct patient care on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes; perform comprehensive nursing assessments; develop and implement a nursing care plan; provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families; delegate care to licensed/unlicensed staff; collaborate with interdisciplinary care team; ensure compliance with RN scope of practice and applicable laws. Schedule: Full-Time Nights 7P-7A. Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an Associate's Degree in Nursing with BSN to be obtained within 24 months, at least one year of acute care experience, Texas (or Compact) license, and BLS; CRRN/IRF experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Associate's Degree of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire
- Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years
- Experience in Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation is preferred
- Current license in the State of Texas or Compact license is accepted
- Current BLS provider is required - AHA or ARC
- Advanced Certification in Inpatient Rehab Nursing, CRRN is preferred
