Job Summary
RN - Inpatient Rehab unit: 33-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care with emphasis on nursing process/outcomes, comprehensive assessments, nursing care plans, patient education, and collaboration with the interprofessional team. Must hold an RN license in Texas (or Compact) with at least an Associate's Degree and BSN required within 24 months; 1+ year acute care experience preferred; IRF-Pai experience and CRRN preferred. Schedule is Full-Time Nights (7 PM–7 AM).
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Must have an Associate's Degree of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years
- Experience in Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation is preferred
- Experience utilizing the Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-Pai) preferred
- Current license in the State of Texas or Compact license is accepted
- Current BLS provider is required - AHA or ARC
- Advanced Certification in Inpatient Rehab Nursing, CRRN is preferred
