Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on a 33-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes. Assess patient health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, educate patients and families, ensure RN supervision and delegation of care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Requires ADN/ASN with BSN within 24 months, Texas license, and 1 year of acute care experience; BLS required; CRRN preferred. Schedule is Full-Time Nights (7P-7A) in Prosper, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Must have an Associate's Degree of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years
- Experience in Post-Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation is preferred
- Experience utilizing the Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-Pai) preferred
- Current license in the State of Texas or Compact license is accepted
- Current BLS provider is required - AHA or ARC
- Advanced Certification in Inpatient Rehab Nursing, CRRN is preferred
