RN - Inpatient Rehab

Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on a 33-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, performing comprehensive nursing assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities include ensuring quality outcomes through the nursing process, delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff, educating patients and families on health promotion and restoration, and applying critical thinking to analyze clinical data. This role operates on the Full-Time Night shift (7P-7A) and requires RN licensure in Texas (or a compact license), an accredited nursing degree (Associate's Degree) with BSN to be completed within 24 months, and a minimum of one year of acute care experience; certification in inpatient rehab nursing (CRRN) is preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Associate's Degree of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years
- Current license in the State of Texas or Compact license is accepted
- Current BLS provider is required - AHA or ARC
