Job Summary
RN for 33-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit on Full-Time Nights (7P-7A). Direct patient care within the RN scope, focusing on nursing process/outcomes for the Inpatient Rehab Unit; perform comprehensive nursing assessments, create and implement nursing care plans, provide education and emotional support to patients and families, and delegate/coordinate care with the healthcare team. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN within 24 months of hire), and Texas (or Compact) RN license; current BLS. Prior acute-care experience preferred; CRRN and IRF-Pai experience encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Must have an Associate's Degree of Professional Nursing
- BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position
- Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years
- Current license in the State of Texas or Compact license is accepted
- Current BLS provider is required - AHA or ARC
- Advanced Certification in Inpatient Rehab Nursing, CRRN is preferred
