RN-Inpatient-PRN-PRMC

RN-Inpatient-PRN role providing direct patient care using the nursing process for an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsibilities include overseeing delivery of patient care, directing and delegating tasks to home health aides and nursing staff based on patient acuity and staff capability, coordinating care with patients, families, physicians, and community resources, ensuring patients understand rights and informed consent, and supporting patient and family teaching. Maintains proficiency with equipment, participates in problem solving to sustain team cohesion, and performs on-call duties with triage and visits as needed. Requires engagement with EPIC charting system, ongoing professional development, and adherence to Medicare/Medicaid rules and hospital policies. Qualifications include ADN minimum, RN license (NM or Compact), and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) across applicable units.
