Job Summary
RN – Inpatient Physical Rehab with Flexible Night shifts providing nursing coordination and individualized care for patients of all ages in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care; collaboration with the health care team and families; documentation using EPIC; patient/family education; and participation in performance improvement activities. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, and BLS-HCP; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit. Strong clinical leadership, critical thinking, and collaborative teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required; may be required to obtain/maintain ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit
- Computer skills required for electronic medical records (EPIC)
