Job Summary
RN - Inpatient Physical Rehab at CRCH in Roanoke, VA providing full-time day shifts (7am-7pm) with rotating weekends/holidays; delivers direct nursing care, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement age-specific plans of care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, documenting in electronic medical records (EPIC), providing patient/family education, contributing to performance improvement, and supporting staff orientation. Requires Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, completion of an accredited nursing program, and BLS-HCP certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on unit, with emphasis on compassionate care and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or an approved nursing program eligible to sit for the Virginia RN licensure examination
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required
- Computer skills for electronic medical record (EPIC)
