Job Summary
RN-Inpatient-PEH role responsible for delivering direct patient care using the nursing process for an assigned group of patients. Manages and delegates care to nursing staff and home health aides, coordinates with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams, and ensures informed consent and patient rights are understood. Responsibilities include maintaining current nursing standards, teaching patients and families, utilizing EPIC for charting, participating in problem-solving with the nursing team, and performing on-call duties with triage/visits as needed. Requires ADN-level education with active NM license, BLS (and ACLS/NRP/PALS as specified), and demonstrated commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence. Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited nursing program (ADN minimum)
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS certification for RN roles
- ACLS certification for Emergency Department/ICU/CC/related units
- NRP for Family Birthing Center/Labor and Delivery/Neonatal care
- PALS for Children Services and related departments
