RN - Inpatient PACU - Weekender

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the inpatient PACU setting with a weekend 60% FTE/12-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday, holidays). The RN will support surgical patients with underlying medical conditions, establish therapeutic relationships to facilitate patient/family understanding of care, and participate in acuity-based staffing. Preferred BSN; opportunities for tuition reimbursement; benefits include health/dental insurance, PTO, retirement, and professional growth. Requires Wisconsin RN license, CPR, ACLS, and relevant PACU/ED/Surgical ICU experience; flexible schedules and a supportive governance structure are highlighted within UW Health.
Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification
- Minimum six (6) months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience
