Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions in the PACU. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate care plans while providing empathetic support during preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise throughout the continuum of care. This full-time role offers 36 weekly hours across variable Monday-to-Friday days with 9-hour shifts, including call and holiday rotation. Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
