Job Summary
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift, supervising and coordinating care delivery, and collaborating with patients, families, and other disciplines to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, patient education, adherence to standards and policies, on-call duties, integration of care across services, and use of EPIC for charting, with opportunities for tuition/certification reimbursement and various lead roles for eligible positions.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum ADN preparation
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- PALS
- Education and career development options
