Job Summary
RN - Inpatient - OR responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift; lead nursing care delivery, coordinate with home health aides and staff based on patient needs, educate patients and families, ensure informed consent and rights, and remain proficient with equipment and EPIC charting. Role includes on-call duties, supervision of aides, and adherence to Medicare/Medicaid rules; supports professional development and safety initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited academic nursing program (ADN acceptable)
- State of New Mexico Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS required for RN roles
- ACLS required for Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
- NRP for Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care
- PALS for Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
- Certification from AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross
