Job Summary
RN—Inpatient in the OR: provides direct patient care using the nursing process, oversees delivery of care, delegates assignments to nursing staff and home health aides, collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and disciplines, ensures informed consent and patient rights, supports education for patients and families, maintains knowledge of current nursing practice, and participates in on-call duties and ongoing professional development; utilizes EPIC for charting, adheres to hospital policies, and coordinates care to improve patient outcomes; includes shift differentials and opportunities for tuition reimbursement and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited nursing program (Minimum ADN preparation)
- State of New Mexico Nursing License or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS - All RN roles
- ACLS - Emergency Department/ Critical Care/ Cardiovascular Lab/ GI Lab/ Interventional Radiology/ Progressive Care/ Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
- NRP - Family Birthing Center/ Labor and Delivery/ Neonatal Intensive Care/ Mother/Baby Care
- PALS - Children Services/ Cardiovascular Lab/ Emergency Department/ GI Lab/ Interventional Radiology/ Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
