Job Summary
RN in inpatient operating room (PRN) at Presbyterian Healthcare Services providing direct patient care using nursing process; acts as clinical resource overseeing delivery of patient care and directing/delegating assignments to nursing staff based on patient needs and staff capability; coordinates patient care with patient/family and other disciplines; ensures patient rights, informed consent, and teaching needs are understood; maintains knowledge of current nursing standards and hospital policies; proficient in equipment used; effective communication and problem solving with care team; on-call duties with triage/visit capabilities; directs own educational needs for common diagnoses; supervises home health aides in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules; performs other required functions. Required Qualifications
- Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required
