Job Summary
RN in inpatient operating room (PRN) at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process for an assigned group of patients during a shift; coordinates care with home health aides and nursing staff; ensures patient education, informed consent, and directives are understood; maintains current nursing knowledge and utilizes EPIC for charting; participates in problem solving and supports team cohesiveness; performs on-call duties and directs educational needs for key diagnoses; supervises home health aides for Medicare/Medicaid compliance; on-site shift: Days, Full-time, 1.00 FTE. Licensure in NM or Compact State, ADN minimum with BSN within 5 years.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required
- Academic Preparation: Degree from accredited academic nursing program (If a program is under conditional status, approval may be granted by system CNO)
- Minimum ADN preparation with expectation of BSN completion within 5 years of hire
