Job Summary
RN-Inpatient-Operating Room role providing direct patient care as a professional nurse using the nursing process, with supervision of home health aides and nursing staff based on patient needs; responsibilities include coordinating care with patients, families, physicians and disciplines, teaching patients about rights, consent, and post-admission education, maintaining current practice standards and protocols, proficiency with equipment and EPIC charting, and on-call triage/visits. The role supports educational development, offers tuition/certification reimbursement, malpractice coverage, loan forgiveness, and safety resources; requires ADN or higher nursing preparation and NM/compact-state licensure, along with BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum ADN preparation
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
- BLS for RN roles
- ACLS (Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room)
- NRP: Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care
- PALS: Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
