Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions in the inpatient oncology unit. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate comprehensive care across the continuum of services. Provide empathetic care during preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Maintain unencumbered RN licensure and department-specific competencies. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
