Job Summary
Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions within the oncology unit. Collaborate with physicians and colleagues to implement and evaluate care plans while providing empathetic support during preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Demonstrate comprehensive nursing expertise and adapt to the fast-paced environment by utilizing strong time management and communication skills. Work full-time night shifts with a 12-hour rotation at the Marsh Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse (RN)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
