Job Summary
The RN is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Collaborates with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, delivering care across preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Plans and coordinates care, conducts patient assessment and education, triage, and various nursing interventions. Adheres to the Nurse Practice Act and related standards and ethics foundations to guide nursing care delivery in the assigned clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in an NLC state
