Job Summary
RN in inpatient unit focused on innovations in acute care medicine/surgery delivering care across a fast-paced 32-bed environment. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized patient care; collaborating with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care; patient education, triage, and coordination of care; practicing within the Nurse Practice Act and standards; and contributing to cutting-edge nursing technology initiatives such as virtual nursing, smart hospital beds, and electronic whiteboards. Requirements include RN licensure (US state board or NLC), graduation from an accredited nursing program, and willingness to adapt to rotational shifts; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing (or multi-state licensure if NLC state)
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Ability to obtain/maintain department competencies and certifications
