Job Summary
RN Inpatient role on day shift (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.), providing basic and skilled nursing care, prioritizing patient needs, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requirements include Ohio RN licensure, 1-2 years of clinical experience with preference for 1 year in an acute setting, CPR certification, and EMR charting experience (Netsmart preferred). BSN is preferred. Strong communication, assessment, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
- Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience, with 1 year in an acute setting preferred
- Has working experience charting in an EMR system, Netsmart system preferred
- Possesses clinical expertise related to critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills
- Possesses the ability to provide basic and skilled nursing care, set priorities of care, and appropriately assess limits of intervention
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding care issues
- Has the ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Must be CPR certified according to the American Heart Association CPR standards
- Understands the hospice philosophy, principles of death/dying, concepts of pain/symptom management, and adult teaching/learning principles
