Job Summary
RN - Inpatient Float: Float across multiple medical and surgical general care units and IMC, providing evidence-based nursing care with critical-thinking, escalation of complications, and appropriate interventions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor/precept new nurses and students, and participate in quality improvement and Shared Governance. 60% FTE evening/night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) including weekends at University Hospital and East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or a compact state
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- ACLS within 6 months
- Two years eICU nursing experience for certain roles
- Six months nursing experience in inpatient units or related settings preferred
