RN- Inpatient Charge, Mental Health (36 Hours) Clackamas

Charge Nurse for inpatient unit (36-hour shift) responsible for supervising nursing personnel, assisting with staff interviews and hiring recommendations, coordinating staffing, directing patient care on the unit, and participating in education and staff development. Works under Nursing Unit Coordinator supervision; ensures efficient operations, quality of care, and effective communication across shifts; provides input into performance evaluations, staffing patterns, and departmental goals; engages in emergency response and multidisciplinary conferences and discharge planning as appropriate. Requires RN licensure in Oregon and BLS; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and MH clinical experience.
