RN Inpatient- Adult OR- Full Time

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and treatment for patients in the assigned clinical area. Coordinate operations including patient scheduling, record maintenance, and admissions; counsel patients and families on conditions, diets, and medication schedules. Ensure patient safety, coordinate referrals, and maintain accurate records. Act as a preceptor per UMMC guidelines and serve on nursing councils or committees to improve care. Perform duties in accordance with the medical center's purpose. This role requires a rotating shift schedule and occasional call subject to department discretion.
