Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, analyze data to determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans utilizing the ANA Nursing Process. Implement prescribed strategies to attain expected outcomes, coordinate care delivery, and ensure patient progression while providing health teaching and promotion. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, family members, and support systems to alleviate suffering and advocate for individuals. Document nursing activities and patient care using applicable technology and software, continuously seeking opportunities to improve quality through innovative problem solving. Requires BLS certification within 60 days, 5+ years of RN experience preferred, and ability to perform very heavy physical tasks. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) status
- South Dakota Board of Nursing or Wyoming Board of Nursing for Wyoming facilities
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Very Heavy work capability: exerting over 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or more than 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time), and/or more than 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
