Job Summary
Delivers infusion services, medication administration, and blood product transfusions in the oncology and general populations at the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion. Performs assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process while adhering to ANA standards and Michigan legal requirements. Requires weekend shifts (6 hours) or weekday 10-hour blocks on an every-other weekend schedule, with a preference for candidates seeking a team nursing model and Oncology certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI
- State of Michigan
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC
- Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certificate course completion
- Radiation Therapy certificate course
- CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC
- OCN Certification (or other applicable Oncology specialty/leadership certification)
- 2 years Oncology experience
- Weekend work
- Team nursing work model
