Job Summary
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care agents to patients while verifying doses and reviewing labs. Provide triage care, manage telephone communications for emergent to non-urgent cases, and educate patients on medications and side effects. Ensure accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record, maintain biohazardous waste disposal standards, and assist with medical supply inventory. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as needed. Travel up to 25% to support clinic locations across the network.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered RN License in state of employment or multi-state license
- Current CPR and BLS certifications
- Valid Driver's License and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital setting
- Ability to assess patient needs and condition
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Fluency in the English language
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills including solid problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness

- Good command of the English language
