Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Hospital-Based) providing nursing care to patients across age groups in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include conducting systematic assessments, administering medications per licensure, developing individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient and family-centered care, and coordinating with care teams to achieve safe outcomes. Responsibilities also cover patient and family education, discharge planning, supervision of students, supporting nurse residency activities, and maintaining compliance with privacy, safety, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
- Basic Life Saving (BLS) accreditation by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accreditation by the American Heart Association (may be required for specific clinical areas)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) accreditation by the American Heart Association (may be required for specific clinical areas)
