Job Summary
RN - Infection Preventionist/Wound Nurse responsible for assessing and treating wound care needs, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans, monitoring wound healing, educating staff on wound care practices and prevention, overseeing the facility's infection prevention program, conducting infection surveillance, managing isolation precautions, coordinating outbreak response, supporting antibiotic stewardship efforts, providing staff training related to infection prevention and wound care, and ensuring compliance through audits. Must stay current with CDC, state, and federal infection prevention guidelines and have an active Wisconsin RN license. Location: Osseo, WI; full-time role with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Wound care experience preferred
- Infection prevention experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Long-term care experience preferred
