The RN delivers high-quality patient care in a cardiac unit under general supervision, coordinating patient care through the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration. Reviews patient needs and conditions to develop and implement individualized care plans, administers medications and treatments, reconciles medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance, evaluates patient responses to interventions, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective care planning and achievement of goals.
