Job Summary
Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team in delivering patient care using the nursing process; provides professional nursing care including assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records in Memorial Hermann Cypress IMU/Med/Surg overflow unit (20 beds) with 24/7 hospitalists. Responsibilities emphasize patient care delivery, collaboration, adherence to safety and quality, and ongoing communication with patients and families. Qualifications include Texas nursing licensure and BLS; BSN preferred. Night shift availability on the IMU unit.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
