Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality care delivery within the framework of established policies and procedures. Maintain current Georgia RN licensure and BCLS certification, with ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire. This role supports the multidisciplinary team at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, contributing to award-winning care across Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU – ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)- NRP
- Nursery- NRP

- Bachelor's Degree
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses will have 6 months to obtain the PALS certification
