Job Summary
RN Imaging Navigator to work onsite at Royal Oak and Dearborn Hospitals. Collaborates with Imaging Directors and service line leaders to drive strategic initiatives within MRI, align patients to appropriate care settings, and improve access for critical patients. Partners with anesthesia and guidelines to prioritize patients using lowest risk methods for quality outcomes. Develops and implements educational curricula, case manages inpatient/outpatient populations, creates/monitors clinical paths, coordinates multispecialty clinics, and documents processes per guidelines. Writes/reviews protocols and provides consultation to patients, families, and care teams to ensure continuity of care and appropriate resource utilization. Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to drive change are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- MI Registered Nurse (RN)
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
