Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Deliver professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating Service Excellence standards at all times. Guide employees under supervision within the Patient Centered Care framework. This part-time float role requires signing an agreement to work at a minimum of three Valley Health System facilities, including Centennial Hills, Spring Valley, Summerlin, Henderson, and West Henderson hospitals. Candidates must hold a current Nevada RN license, BLS certification, and relevant ACLS/PALS/NRP credentials, with a BSN preferred and two years of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- Two-years acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients) or current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- Approved Crisis Management Course
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
- Must sign agreement to float to a minimum of three VHS facilities
