Job Summary
RN III Cath Lab - VHS Float: Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in the Cath Lab across VHS facilities, with professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; oversees and guides staff under supervision; emphasizes Patient Centered Care and service-excellence standards while complying with facility policies and philosophy. Requires acute Cath Lab experience or approved specialty training, Nevada RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, and an agreement to float to at least three VHS facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- Two-years acute Cath lab care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult) or current PALS Certification (pediatric) or current NRP Certification (neonatal) as required by department
- Crisis Management Course (Approved)
- Must sign agreement to float to a minimum of three VHS facilities
