Job Summary
RN III Cath Lab – VHS Float provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in the Cath Lab across multiple VHS facilities. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, upholds Patient Centered Care as the foundation of nursing care, and oversees/ guides staff under supervision. Requires current Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable, and the ability to float to multiple VHS facilities. BSN preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire (BSN preferred)
- Two-years acute Cath lab care experience or approved specialty course within 6 months of hire
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult) or PALS or NRP as required by department
- Other certification as required by facility/department
- Approved Crisis Management Course
- Must sign agreement to float to a minimum of three VHS facilities
