Job Summary
Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned unit while adhering to Texas Nurse Practice Act standards and American Nurses Association guidelines. Recognize when assistance is needed and seek appropriate resources, balancing dependent and interdependent decision-making to expand specialty knowledge. Deliver care through nursing-based practices that support the unit's strategic initiatives and health system goals. Requires an Associate of Science in Nursing or higher, a Texas RN license, BLS certification, and 2+ years of experience in PACU, Pre-OP, or Endoscopy. Full-time employment offers hourly pay ranging from $29.00 to $52.00.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Texas RN license
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- 2+ years of experience as RN in PACU, Pre-OP or Endoscopy
- Proven basic computer skills
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- RN experience in Pre-Op, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital setting
