Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care as an RN II, performing comprehensive assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, educating patients and maintaining medical records. Demonstrates clinical competence with technology use, medication administration, and emergency management; communicates and collaborates with physicians and interprofessional teams to ensure compassionate, high-quality patient care. Assume leadership roles including charge nurse or preceptor to students/new staff, and participate in service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management. Must meet education/licensing requirements and maintain current Texas RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS; PALS as applicable).
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse license (Texas)
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if pediatric care) or equivalent
- Texas Board of Nursing licensure or compact license (within 60 days)
