Job Summary
Staff RN assigned to a designated patient group, coordinating and implementing patient care using nursing skills to assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care and educational needs; develops and revises the plan of care to deliver quality, safe care; operates within units such as ICU/SICU/CCU/NSU/DOU with 12-hour day shifts; must complete the RN Residency Program within 6 months of employment; requires CA RN license, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification for applicable ICU/NSU/DOU roles; emphasis on compassionate care and team-based delivery of health services.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of California
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire/transfer
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification 'A' within 3 months of hire/transfer for ICU/SICU/CCU/NSU/DOU
- One year critical care experience preferred
- Emanate Health RN Residency Program within the first 6 months of employment
