Job Summary
Pediatric RN II - Ambulatory (Nephrology) in Orlando provides and coordinates nursing care in partnership with the child and family, leads program management for the ambulatory nephrology service, supervises staff, develops policies and procedures, conducts training and orientation, and may travel to satellite locations. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or active BSN enrollment with 12-month completion), Florida RN license, American Heart Association BCLS, 1–3 years' nursing experience (pediatrics preferred). Responsible for clinical care using the nursing process, documentation, staff leadership, and ensuring adherence to standards and best practices within the Nemours Children’s Hospital ambulatory nephrology program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a BSN program with a completion date within 12 months of hire
- American Heart Association BCLS Certification
- Current Florida RN License in good standing
- Minimum of one (1) year to three (3) years of experience required
- Minimum two (2) years clinical experience, pediatrics preferred
- Travel to satellite locations may be required
