Job Summary
RN ICU Regional Float Pool role requiring on-site ICU care at UCHealth facilities. Provides top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process within a fast-paced ICU/PCU environment. Works in a regional float pool with day and night rotation and PRN schedule. Mentors or precepts new staff and supports multidisciplinary teamwork, patient safety, and evidence-based practice. ICU-specific responsibilities include direct patient care in a technically complex ICU setting, alignment with AACN’s Synergy Model, and participation in specialty education/training for competency validation. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
