Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure quality at the point of care within a fast-paced clinical environment supported by Clinical Educators for competency validation. Requires 6 months of ICU experience, state RN licensure, ACLS, and valid BLS/CPR certification. Full-time day and night rotation at UCHealth Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU and/or PCU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- ACLS
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Must be available for Day and Night Rotation
- Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
