Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities for all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Provide care to patients in the ICU setting as a registered nurse with current Georgia licensure and BCLS certification. Maintain ACLS certification within 180 days of start date.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree
- No experience required
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PEARS or PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS
- BLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
- 6 months to obtain the PALS certification
- 6 months to complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- 12 months of start date
