Job Summary
RN – ICU staff nurse responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across the lifespan using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff, adheres to organizational policies, maintains standards of practice, and supports professional growth. Requires Georgia RN licensure, BLS, and unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) with some units requiring additional certifications within specified timeframes. New graduates may be eligible; AC and specialty certifications may be required within allotted orientation periods. The role includes units such as ICU, Surgical Services, Women’s Services, Dialysis, Emergency Department, Infusion/Oncology, Pediatrics, and more as detailed in the addendum.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
- Nursing Licensure in the State of Georgia (RN)
- BCLS/Basic Life Support
- ACLS Certification (within 6 months for Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty)
- PALS/NRP requirements for certain units (as specified)
