Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervises assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessments to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes. Implements care plans, delegates duties to team members, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing environment while providing learning opportunities. Requires BSN degree, RN licensure, ACLS/NIHSS certifications, and acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- accessed and read the E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices and understand the contents therein
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
