Job Summary
Provide high-quality care to post-op open heart surgery patients on the ICU night shift, utilizing clinical judgment to diagnose and treat responses to various health conditions. Collaborate with the NISUS research department on national clinical trials while caring for patients with congestive heart failure, electrophysiology studies, and those undergoing procedures like PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. Float to similar units as needed while maintaining compliance with strict attendance and patient safety standards. This role offers a 3x12 night schedule with a contract length of 8-12 weeks and includes lodging, meals, and licensure reimbursement. Join a unit recognized as a Top 50 Heart Hospital in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of ICU experience
- Michigan RN license
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application
- Willingness to float to similar units
