Job Summary
Registered Nurse needed for ICU units including Medical ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Surgical ICU in New York hospitals. 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 days per week). Responsibilities include evaluating and monitoring patient progress, identifying changes in condition, delivering regular updates to doctors, patients, and families, initiating treatment and monitoring doses, responding to emergencies, caring for patients throughout ICU recovery, completing paperwork before transfers, maintaining patient records, and creating and implementing effective care plans.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of critical care experience
- IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill
- RN License - required
- Primary Source Verification - required
- AHA BLS - required
- AHA ACLS - required
- IV Certification - required
- CCRN - preferred
- CRRT - preferred
- ECHMO - preferred
- Hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis - preferred
